Recipes for Starch & Paper Mache Paste & Clay
Paper Mache Paste Recipe
From Youtuber Drachenfang in his tutorial on paper mache pumpkins.
Start with water in a container mix in flour then liquid starch and pva/white glue.
Mix well until smooth.
Store in airtight container in the fridge.
Will last a couple of weeks but will separate over time so you need to mix it well before use before you start.
Liquid Starch Recipe
From Youtuber Drachenfang he has a tutorial on making this from corn flour/starch
Put the above ratio of water to corn flour/starch into a saucepan, mix well (use a whisk or electric mixer to combine well) and bring to the boil.
Once boiling turn heat down to simmer until it thickens to a gravy consistency.
Be careful it will boil over if you leave it unsupervised.
Bottle and store in the fridge, last a while no idea how long. I haven't stored it for more than a month because I have used it all within that time.

When the paper is looking like a slurry fix the material over the 2nd bucket.
